This past Sunday was a special day as Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day the 11th November fell on the same day, it also marked the 100th anniversary since the signing of the armistice to end WWI. It was fantastic to be joined by so many in the community who came along to share in our prayers and thanks to the many fallen soldiers and veterans who gave up so much for us to have the lives we have today.
We would like to thank our rector Fr. Mark for leading the ceremony, of which we were also accompanied by Fr. Ian Montgomery who gave a powerful sermon.
Our special service was in association with the British Royal Legion and we were joined by various members of our embassies.
Outside after the service we laid our poppies in remembrance of the fallen soldiers to thank and pray for them and for the remaining families
